Skype

One interesting fact I learned from Skype guest, Logan, yesterday was that Logan was the only American there when he visited those places, he had to learn there language, eat there food, and he had to work with them. I learned that it's not easy to travel to different place and make it feel like home already, it takes time to get use to eat, and you get to learn a new language, culture, tradition, and how they live in life. It seem very fun, because he got to learn new things, and it seem it was really hard because its not like home, and he's all on his own, but he's traveling to a new places with friendly people.

What I Learned Today

Today I just learned how to plan a trip, I thought it was really easy and kind of hard. Because I had to do lots of thing and things had to be planned. I learn how to book a flight, and hotel. That part was easy, but the hard part is not knowing what else to do, and what to bring on my trip. We also did this chart, "What we know or we learned about Europe?" I found out that soccer was born in Europe, theres cold climate, and they have small countries. Overall, told was fun, and I learned lots of stuff!

Planning my Trip to Paris

What I Know about Paris?

The things I know to for preparing for a trip is to pack clothes, personal items, bring my passport, cash, have my ticket ready, and my travel brochures. I know that Paris has an Eiffel Tower and people speak French. Paris is knowns for the Land of Love, its fashion, and food.
The things I need to know in order to make my trip to be a sucess to find where I'm living or places, how much money I need to bring, places I'm visiting, what resturant I'll be eating, and some background knowledge about the city.

I plan on going to Paris, because it's known for the Land of love, the fashion, and the food! http://www.lonelyplanet.com/france/paris, this website shows the destination, what spark my interest is wanting to see the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and I forgot to metion it's also known for "The City of Light", that's why there romance everywhere.

Why do we travel?

“We travel, initially, to lose ourselves; and we travel, next, to find ourselves. We travel to open our hearts and eyes and learn more about the world than our newspapers will accommodate. We travel to bring what little we can, in our ignorance and knowledge, to those parts of the globe whose riches are differently dispersed. And we travel, in essence, to become young fools again – to slow time down and be taken in, and fall in love once more.” - Pico Iyer

We travel to get to know different places in the world. We like to travel to be able to know the different cultures, religions, food, and languages of countries. We also travel to learn new things and meet a lot of new people. Traveling is also a fun experience. You get to try things that you're not normally used to. You're also in a different environment that you usually don't get to live in. So, while you're having fun enjoying a country, you're also able to learn about the culture of the country as well.
